+In 1979, SDPIRI (Shandong Pharmaceutical Industrial Research Institute) was founded as a high-tech pharmaceutical research orientated institute .

+In 1983, SDPIRI began the research of Glicalzide. In 1988, SDPIRI transferred the Gliclazide synthesis method to XinXin Pharmaceutical CO., Tianjin.

+In 1992, SDPIRI started the manufacturing of Gliclazide with the capacity of 10 tons/year , most of which were exported to Europe.

+In 2002, Shandong Keyuan Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. was established . And Linuo Group held its 70% shares , SDPIRI , the rest .

+In 2003, Keyuan Pharm built the APIs factory in Shanghe H-tech Zone, Jinan in accordance with the GMP requirements to enhance the production.

+In 2004, Keyuan Pharm gained the Chinese GMP Certificate.

+In 2006, the phase II project started constructing.

+In the earlier of Oct. 2007, Keyuan Pharm gained the EDQM COS Certificate for Gliclazide!
